Please note the new Library opening times Monday from 9-30a.m. till 3-30p.m., Tuesday 5p.m. till 9p.m. Thursday 2p.m. till 6-30p.m Church Rev Richard Darroch welcomed Rachel and friends from Uphall South Parish Church last Sunday morning. Rachel a 16 year old is a Brigader, Leader in the Busy Project, dancer a JHM and Youth Leader in Church and is soon to embark on a short term mission to Rwanda . She will be part of a 17 team of volunteers and 2 leaders and will leave in July. The mission is with Urban Saints and Scripture Union. Many Churches are supporting and encouragin­g this group. We all wish them well and look forward to hearing their experience­s on their return. SWi President Tracy Hill extended a warm welcome to all who had come along to the final meeting of the session of the SWI which was a charity coffee evening with proceeds going to the Chest Heart and Stoke Assoc. Routine business was soon dealt with and the trophies presented to Lorna Walley for gaining the most points at the Federation Show this was the Osborne Trophy. The Whitelaw Cup for most points gained throughout the year to Connie Walley and the Marshall Quaich to Mary McNee as runner up. Tracy then introduced the Linlithgow Rugby Club Choir who were to provide such a varied programme of songs from musicals to the Beatles and more. They were thanked on behalf of the group by Tracy before serving up teas,coffees and goodies. This brought a most pleasant evening to a close. The annual outing is on May 27 th .
