Hopkin was delighted with his firstfi acquisition of the summer.sum He said: “I have watchedw Scott numero numerous times this season anda always liked what I h have seen. “W“We’ve been cha chasing him since th the turn of the ye year and I’m delighted to get him signed up. He is at a good age which fits in with our philosophy at the club – lads who have played football at a decent level and are still young and hungry, but who have the chance to develop further by playing full-time football.”
Meanwhile, Brown, though just 23, has already played more than 100 games for East Fife.
Hopkin again spoke of his delight at bringing in the versatile midfielder.
Hopkin said: “We feel by bringing Ross on board and giving him a full-time environment it can only benefit both him and the club in that process.
“Ross is predominately a midfielder, but we feel he can play a variety of positions for us. He is a very fit individual, has a great attitude and burning desire to do well.
“Again, Ross has been a player I have been impressed with every time he played against us last season. He brings great energy to the team and isn’t afraid to do his bit. I feel we can develop him further, and he will fit in with the players we already have at the club.”
