Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy the 46th annual West Lothian Highland Games at the weekend.
Visitors from as far afield as Austria and France watched the ever popular event on Saturday at Meadow Park.
Among the main attractions were the pipe bands which played in competitions throughout the day, along with Highland dancing contests the Heavy Sports.
Peoples Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia pipe band swept the board on the day taking the top spot in Grade One with their juvenile band winning the Grade Two category.
The band also won in the Juvenile and Novice section.
The event also saw heavy sports take place with entrants competing in tossing the caber and other categories.
Highland dancing also proved popular with the crowds who watched dancers from West Lothian and beyond vying for top places.
This year’s Chieftain was MSP Fiona Hyslop, who said: “The weather was kind to us and the buzz, the bands, the dancers, the runners and the heavies all contributed to an excellent day.”
