The walks are organised by the West Lothian Council Health Improvement Team.

A spokesperson said: “Our groups are friendly and welcoming and the trained walk leaders will support new walkers to build up their pace and distance.

“You can meet new friends, discover new walks and improve your fitness.

“The walks will last about 60 minutes and you will be able to walk at your own pace. Sorry, but dogs are not allowed on the walks.

“The walk may be cancelled at short notice at the leader’s discretion if they think the weather conditions make the walk unsafe.

“First time walkers are asked to arrive 15 minutes early.”

The Health Improvement Team supports West Lothian communities most at risk of poor health.
