June Close juneclose@ymail.com Gala timetable is as follows Judging of Household and Commercial prem- ises will take place tomorrow night (Fri). Fancy Dress contestants should meet on the morning of the Galaday (Sat) at the Partnership Centre for 11.00 am. Decorated vehicles will be judged at the village green at about 11.30am. The crowning ceremony takes place at the Partnership Centre at 12 noon and the procession will begin immediately thereafter. Gala races and children’s entertainment will be held at Fauldhouse United F.C. ground and will begin at 3 pm. The fairground (shows) will be at the ash park behind Eastfield Training Centre. Gala boxes will be available for collection/sale at the HUB from 10am - noon and then from 2 pm until 4.30pm at Fauldhouse United Park. Parents are requested to encourage all children to walk in the street procession and also to participate in the gala races. Greenburn Golf Club take this opportunity to thank Muirhall Energy Ltd for their financial support towards upgrading their existing practice net facility at the club.
Cathy Bryce (nee Murphy) would like to thank all who have donated to and supported the various charity events that she and family members have organised for ovarian cancer over the past four years. Almost £6k has been raised and the Macmillan Cancer Support, Ovarian Cancer Trust, Marie Curie, Race for Life, and Lets shout for Linda have all benefitted from cash donations. Cathy started fundraising after her sister Mary was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Sadly Mary recently passed away after a long and hard fought battle with the disease. Fauldhouse Employability

has awarded a grant to Greenburn Golf Club towards the refurbishment of their ladies and gents toilets. The clubs management committee are extremely grateful for this support and thank Levenseat Trust for their generosity. A huge thanks also to all who supported Greenburns application to the Trust. Fauldhouse Community Development Trust are delighted to announce that following two years of hard work they have taken over the keys and responsibility for Eastfield Training Centre from a West Lothian Council.
