Access2emp­loyment is a free Employabil­ity Service run by West Lothian Council supporting local people into Employment, Training or Education. Experience­d advisers are located in the Craiginn Centre on Tuesday’s from 2p.m. till 4-30 p.m. and Fridays by appointmen­t only. You can also book an appointmen­t free on 0800 032 9768. Church Coffee Mornings are held in the Church on the last Thursday of each month from 10a.m.

SWoi Last Saturday members of the SWI travelled to Chatlerhau­t as part of their annual outing. Some enjoyed one of the short walks there while others enjoyed a cuppa and learning about the history before boarding the coach to travel to New Lanark. After a bite of lunch it was time for a guided tour of the village then the Annie McLeod experience. Next stop was Biggar where it rained then to the Tinto hotel for high tea returning to the village around 8 p.m. having enjoyed a great day out.
