Roadworks plan for this summer
West Lothian Council are advising drivers of planned road closures for the coming months.
From Monday, June 26, to Friday, June 30, Strathbrock Place from the junction with Almondell Road, northwards to the junction with A899 East Main Street will be closed to allow the installation of new power supply. A signed diversion route will be in place. Access will be maintained for residents and business holders at times which are agreed between them and the contractors. Pedestrians are not affected. From Monday, June 26, to Friday, June 30, the B8031 Milrig Smallholdings will be closed from the junction with the C27 Station Road, northwards for a distance of around 260 metres to all the installation of Virgin Media. A signed diversion route will be in place. Pedestrians are not affected. From Monday, July 3, until July 31, Kirkton North Road, Livingston, will be closed between Bloom Roundabout and Village Lane Junction, to allow essential work on the underpass to be carried out.
A signed diversion route will be in place. Pedestrians are not affected.
A shuttle bus will be in operation for the duration of the works.
From Monday, July 3, until July 31, Ladywell West Road, Livingston, will be closed between Tern Brae junction and Swift Brae Junction, to allow essential work on the underpass to be carried out.
A signed diversion route will be in place. Pedestrians are not affected.
From Monday, July 3, until Sunday, July 16, Whitedalehead Road, Whitburn, will be closed from the junction with Blaeberryhill Road to House number 44 Whitedalehead Road, to allow essential maintenance work to be carried out.
A signed diversion route will be in place. Pedestrians are not affected.
From Monday, July 3, to September 22, B792 Blackburn Road at Inchmuir Road (entrance to Whitehill Industrial Estate), Bathgate, between Blackburn and Easter Inch Roundabout in Bathgate, will have temporary three-way traffic lights in place to allow for junction improvement works. Expect delays.
Inchmuir Road itself will be closed at the Royal Mail Delivery Office.

From Monday, July 10, until Sunday, July 16, the B792 from Blackburn Cross to Stoneyburn Cross will be closed to allow essential maintenance work to be carried out.
A signed diversion route will be in place. Pedestrians are not affected.
There will also be overnight closures on the B7031 Station Road, Kirknewton, on three weekends to allow level crossing maintenance to take place.
The closures are from 11.45 pm to 7.45 am on Saturday, June 24, to Sunday, June 25. A signed diversion route will be in place. Access to the station car park will be maintained from the north side of the level crossing.
