Kirsty’s family want answers

Information plea following tragedy

- Sean O’Neil

The family of Kirsty Maxwell, who tragically died in mysterious circumstances in Spain earlier this year, have launched an appeal for information relating to her death.

Kirsty fell from a balcony in Benidorm on April 29 after a night out with friends and many questions are still unanswered relating to the events that led up to her death.

The family have now set up a Facebook page appealing for people to come forward and assist the ongoing investigations in Spain.

A statement on the Kirsty Maxwell Information Appeal page says: “Words cannot describe how Kirsty’s husband Adam, her mum Denise, dad Brian, brother Ryan and the rest of her family and friends are feeling.

“Their grief is aggravated by the fact there are so many unanswered questions about what happened to Kirsty and the knowledge that people out there hold vital information which can assist the family’s search for the truth.”

Kirsty’s husband Adam made a personal appeal for those who may have information about his wife’s death to come forward.

Adam wrote: “My lovely wife Kirsty lost her young life in tragic circumstances on holiday at Apartmentos Payma, Av. de Almeria 5, 03503 Benidorm, Spain on the morning of Saturday 29th April 2017.

“There are a lot of unanswered questions about Kirsty’s death still being investigated by Spanish Police , Spanish Lawyer Luis Miguel Zumaquero and the Court.

“Something happened in those apartments which resulted in Kirsty’s death and someone knows the answers.”

Adam has asked anyone staying in the Payma Apartments or in the nearby Benidorm area between April 27 and 30 to come forward.

He said: “I live in hope that someone will provide the answers we so much need.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kirsty Maxwell Information Appeal Facebook page or send an email in confidence to info@ kirstymaxell.com
