Blackburn & Seafield Parish Church is again holding a free summer holiday club for children aged 5-12 yrs. This will run in the Church hall from Monday 17th July until Friday 21st July 2017 10:30 till 12:30 pm (2:30pm on Tuesday). The theme this year is Guardians of Ancora! and it is sure to be a week filled with fun, faith, friendship, craft, games and much much more! All children will be made most welcome. Women’s Social Service Club at Blackburn Community Centre has started up again from 1.30pm to 3.30pm every Wednesday until March. New members welcome, includes outings, speakers, bingo and games.

Bowling club on the green recently was the Phil Ketchum Pairs Tournament. Winners on the day were Alan Robertson and Louis Gray Runners up John Brown and Alan Crookston Hat night every Monday 6.15pm for 6.30pm all welcome. On the social scene Sunday June 11 from Fife Midnight Blue, Suncay June 18 from Kirriemuir Angus, Jim Foster, Sunday, June 25, Glasgow duo Rain. Bingo deal or no deal, tote double, dooh dah bag every Sunday, 8.30pm. Thursday is bingo night, eyes down 8.15pm includes 3 snowballs. All welcome
