REHOMING APPEAL

-

Cat Protection in West Lothian are appealing for new homes for two felines who are currently in their care.

The first cat is a nine-year-old black and white female cat called Hannah.

Hannah is staying with the charity through no fault of her own and has quickly settled in her foster home where she loves the quiet life and shows her softer side.

She previously lived with another cat but has no experience of living with dogs. Cat Protection are looking to find her a home with outdoor access and without young children.

The second cat in need of a new home is Tabby, a sprightly, friendly 17-year-old boy.

Abandoned as a kitten Tabby decided to move in with a neighbour and a strong bond quickly developed but sadly he can no longer take care of Tabby and asked us to help.

Tabby loves to play with toys, especially cat nip, and enjoys saying hello to anyone who visits. He has never been around other pets or young children so we are looking for a peaceful home where he can snooze uninterrupted between playtimes.

Tabby has early stage renal disease but this is currently controlled by diet . He is getting used to renal food but loves a bit of chicken too. It isn’t unusual for a cat of this age to develop renal problems, and with no other health issues he is raring to go.

If you feel you can provide either of these cats with a new home call Cat Protection on 01506 298107 or use the“Contact us”form on the www.cats.org.uk/west-lothian website and a home visit can be arranged.
