Livingston Care Home in Bankton Gardens, hosts a High Tea Morning every Friday from 11am – 12.15pm, everyone welcome. Art students at West Lothian College were celebrating after every single one of them secured places at prestigious art schools following their studies.
The ten talented students on the college’s HNC Contemporary Art Practice course also held an exhibition of their work after receiving 25 different offers between them.
Rona Wilson, HNC Contemporary Art Practice Lecturer, said:“People have been commenting that the level of achievement, the variety of destinations and range of specialist areas that students will be moving onto at the art schools is impressive.
“Some of our students portfolios were so strong that they have also been made second year offers despite only applying for first year.”
The exhibition will showcased a collection of paintings, prints, photography, digital work, projection, video, sound, sculpture, installation and intervention work carried out by the students during their studies.
