A host of local runners were amongst the leaders in the Livingston Parkrun on Saturday morning.

Livingston Athletic Club’s Alastair Marshall was the first runner home in 18:14, one minute ahead of Lothian Running Club’s Jo William.

She finished second overall but once again claimed the first female title at Livingston.

Her time of 19:14 saw her claim the female title by over three minutes with Edinburgh AC’s Sharyn Ramage coming home in 22:22, which saw her place 28th overall.

Both Alastair and Jo ran new personal best times.

Lothian Running Club had two other runners in the top-10 with Scott Nelson’s time of 19:36 seeing him come home in fourth spot while Kenton Jones (20:16) finished in sixth position.

And there was a spot in the top 10 for Linlithgow AAC’s William Millar who grabbed 10th place in 20:36.
