Revving up and set for another victory

- Callum Carson

The Edinburgh Parsons Peebles Monarchs will be hoping to extend their unbeaten home run when they welcome the struggling Scunthorpe Scorpions to the Armadale Stadium on Friday night.

The SGB Championship leaders have been in fine form on their home shale this term, sealing nine wins and a draw from their 10 fixtures.

And that has paved the way to them sitting atop the standings as the race for the play-offs heats up.

But the Monarchs will be keen to ensure they go into their Friday night fixture full of confidence by claiming points from a tricky away clash at the Redcar Bears tonight (Thursday).

Captain Sam Masters ( pictured) will be looking to get back on track after a disappointing paid-nine from last week’s spectacular late show against Ipswich.

The action on Friday night begins at the usual time of 7.30pm. For ticket information, visit the club’s website at www. edinburghmonarchs.co.uk.
