Summer league results

There was plenty of action in the summer leagues during the week with William Borland stretching his lead at the top of the Buffalo Bills league with fine results.

The youngster now has 21 points to his name after seven games, with Graeme Bird and Rex Brady sitting in joint second place on 17 points but they both have two games in hand.

Jim Mitchell is next up on 15 points with the trio of Ian Stevenson, Kieran Bird and Martin Deegan a single point further off the pace.

Top performanc­es this week came from Ian Stevenson, who was one of two players along with Jim Mitchell, to hit a 180.

Stevenson also recorded the best leg of the night with a 15-darter as well as an 18-dart leg. He sits in joint fifth spot on 14 points.

Meanwhile there is a real fight for top spot in the Calamity Jane league with Denise Bird and Mary Clark sitting pretty at the top with 14 points apiece.

Three points further back is Leona Stewart in third spot before the table becomes really congested with just four points separating the next five players after another thrilling week.

Elsewhere, Callum Wilkinson got the better of Lewis Lyall to take the Stirrup Stane Memorial Trophy.

A great day of darts, dominoes and pool saw a total of £450 raised at the event with the money going towards the Coleman Charity.
