NEW HOME APPEAL

-

Cat-lovers are being urged to offer a new home to a special moggy. Bill is in the care of West Lothian Cats Protection, and his carers say he is an extremely friendly and confident cat, who has a huge personality and loves people. His favourite thing is to snooze his time away on someone knee or beside them, day and night on the bed and sofa. He is a real people cat and spends most of his time in company but is not too demanding. Bill is still active and is an outdoor hunter.

As he hasn’t always got along with the other cats in the past, Bill needs to be an only cat.

A spokesperson for Wewst Lothian Cats Protection said:“He is a mellow soul and needs a quiet family with no younger children, where someone will be around most of the time to keep him company. He is also very fond of twining around legs, so would not suit anyone who is unsteady on their feet, or unable to pick up a largish cat.

“Bill has moderate heart failure, an overactive thyroid gland, a mild skin condition, and mild kidney impairment. These conditions are well controlled on tablets, which he eats mixed in with his senior food and he is not unwell. However, any new family would need to be aware of his ongoing requirements and that his life expectancy might be limited by these.”

If you feel you can offer this amazing cat the forever home he deserves, contact West Lothian Cats Protection on 01506 298107 or use the‘Contact us’form on the branch website www.cats.org.uk/westlothian and a home visit can easily be arranged.
