Epic a right royal mess

A misguided mess this one as Charlie Hunnam’s miscast Arthur feels a world away from the famous mythical hero, and Jude Law doesn’t fare much better as his nemesis Vortigern.

Guy Ritchie shoots eye-catching sequences but the script is sloppy and it’s hard to see this planned franchise taking off.
