- Courier reporter

A ‘little lights’ walk will take place in West Lothian next week for World Prematurity Day.

Bliss, the charity for babies born premature or sick, want as many adults and children as possible to light up the night for babies that are born too soon, too small, and too sick, to celebrate the hope and strength of premature babies and their families whilst raising vital funds for Bliss.

The walk on Friday, November 17, will leave from the Civic Centre, Livingston, at 6pm. Coady Dorman, community ambassador for Bliss Scotland, said she is hopeful the event will be a big success.

She added: “Each year we encourage as many people as possible to walk with us, so please bring your tea lights, glow sticks, torches and lanterns and let’s walk and light up the night,

“Me e t i n g b y the civic centre we will walk towards the park in a loop ending back where we started.”

There will be a minimum of £1 donation per person walking.
