Four West Loth­ian clubs in cup draw

West Loth­ian’s four teams still in the Scot­tish Ju­nior Cup learned their third round fate af­ter the draw was made on Tues­day af­ter­noon.

Lin­lith­gow Rose have the eas­i­est pas­sage through to the last 32, on pa­per at least, as they face a trip away to East Re­gion South Divi­sion side Oak­ley United.

Rose gaffer Mark Bradley is look­ing to make it a hat­trick of vic­to­ries with the club, hav­ing lifted the tro­phy twice as a player with the Pre­ston­field out­fit as well as suf­fer­ing fi­nal de­feat to Auchin­leck Tal­bot dur­ing his first spell in charge.

Bath­gate This­tle have been handed the trick­i­est tie of the four West Loth­ian teams as they were drawn away to West Re­gion Su­per Pre­mier League side Cum­nock.

Pre­mier League sides Black­burn United and Whit­burn were both handed home ties as they aim to book a place in the fourth round.

United, who eased past Aberdeen East End in the pre­vi­ous round, will face the win­ner of the tie be­tween Annbank United and Colony Park while the Burnie wel­come Glas­gow out­fit Ben­burb to Cen­tral Park later this month.
