Four West Lothian clubs in cup draw

- Callum Carson

West Lothian’s four teams still in the Scottish Junior Cup learned their third round fate after the draw was made on Tuesday afternoon.

Linlithgow Rose have the easiest passage through to the last 32, on paper at least, as they face a trip away to East Region South Division side Oakley United.

Rose gaffer Mark Bradley is looking to make it a hattrick of victories with the club, having lifted the trophy twice as a player with the Prestonfield outfit as well as suffering final defeat to Auchinleck Talbot during his first spell in charge.

Bathgate Thistle have been handed the trickiest tie of the four West Lothian teams as they were drawn away to West Region Super Premier League side Cumnock.

Premier League sides Blackburn United and Whitburn were both handed home ties as they aim to book a place in the fourth round.

United, who eased past Aberdeen East End in the previous round, will face the winner of the tie between Annbank United and Colony Park while the Burnie welcome Glasgow outfit Benburb to Central Park later this month.
