Grace Har­ris har­ Heather­field Nurs­ing Home win­ter fair Satur­day, Novem­ber 11, 2pm to 4pm, Ar­madale Ma­sonic Hall. Stalls, Christ­mas mer­chan­dise, hot drinks or a drink from the bar, tombola and the chance to win an iPad. En­try is £1 in­cludes hot drink and sweet treat. Ar­madale Bowl­ing Club The func­tion suite is avail­able for pri­vate hire and in­for­ma­tion can be ob­tained from the club. Bingo for mem­bers and friends takes place on Wed­nes­days at 8pm and Satur­days at 7.30pm. The trea­sure chest draw also takes

place on Satur­days and No­rah’s num­ber was drawn but the cor­rect key was not picked. Prize money next week £200.00. A Karaoke will take place on Sun­day 19 Novem­ber be­tween 7pm-11pm with ev­ery singer tak­ing part be­ing en­tered into a prize draw.

Cof­fee Morn­ing Ar­madale Methodist Church are hold­ing a cof­fee morn­ing and ta­ble top sale on Satur­day 18 Novem­ber from 10am – 1pm. There will also be a dis­play of Ad­vent paint­ings, painted by Stir­ling Methodist Church. En­try £1.50 in­cludes tea and bis­cuits. All wel­come.

Ar­madale This­tle Play at away to Craig Roys­ton on Satur­day in a league game with the kick off at 2.00pm and the bus leav­ing from Ar­madale Swim­ming baths at 11.30am. A fund rais­ing race night will take place on Satur­day 18 Novem­ber in the Cor­rie Bar at 7.30pm. Sun­day 5 Novem­ber lot­tery draw num­bers were 7, 12, 15, 16. Methodist Church on Sun­day 12 Novem­ber Rev. Dr Mark Ja­son will be preach­ing at the morn­ing ser­vice. Please note as this is Re­mem­brance Sun­day the morn­ing ser­vice will be­gin at the later time of 11.30am. All wel­come. Ser­vices Led by Ar­madale Par­ish Church will take place in the fol­low­ing:- Bield Hous­ing – Sun­day 12 Novem­ber at 2.30pm. Toll Gate House- Wed­nes­day 15 Novem­ber at 10.30am. 1st Ar­madale Girls’ Brigade Ses­sion ac­tiv­i­ties are held on Tues­days with Ex­plor­ers (P1-P3) meet­ing from 6pm-7.15pm. Ju­niors (P4-P7), 7pm8.30pm. Bri­gaders (S1-S6) 7.45pm9.15pm. All new and ex­ist­ing bri­gaders will be warmly wel­comed.

Knit and Nat­ter Knit for char­ity in Ar­madale Methodist Church Hall ev­ery sec­ond Tues­day af­ter­noon from 2pm – 4pm. The new knit and nat­ter next meet on Tues­day 14 Novem­ber and will then meet on the first and third Tues­day of the month. Even if you don’t knit why not come along and en­joy a cuppa and a chat. Ev­ery­one will be made most wel­come.

Boys’ Brigade The Brigade meet on a Thurs­day evening in Ar­madale Par­ish Church hall and it would be great to see ex­ist­ing bri­gaders and any boys who would be in­ter­ested in join­ing the Brigade. The An­chors for (P2-P3’s) meet from 5.45pm-6.45pm and the Ju­nior Sec­tion for (P4/P5/ P6’s) meet from 6.45pm-8.15pm. Come along and en­rol and meet new friends and have fun.

Ar­madale Shed is now open three days a week - Mon­day, Wed­nes­day and Thurs­day from 10am-4pm. Mon­day morn­ing is re­served for quiet work, ie the teach­ing of weav­ing on hand looms and a bit of hand­craft as­sem­bling or paint­ing. Wed­nes­day is pri­mar­ily a wood turn­ing day with our res­i­dent ex­pert Robert mon­i­tor­ing on our three lathes. Al­ways open to sug­ges­tion and a cup of tea or cof­fee is al­ways avail­able. WRI meet in Colin­sheil Hous­ing with Care at 7pm on the sec­ond Mon­day of each month. Please note they will not have their reg­u­lar meet­ing on 13 Novem­ber as they will be at­tend­ing their yearly Rally on 16 Novem­ber. All ex­ist­ing and new mem­bers will be warmly wel­comed. Mini Kickers takes place in Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on a Fri­day from 3.30pm-4.30pm. Mini Kickers are ba­sic in­tro­duc­tory foot­ball ses­sions for 3-5 year olds. Cost is £3.50 per week and par­tic­i­pants can just turn up to pay and play on the day. Credit Union sit­u­ated in Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on Wed­nes­day’s from 9.15am – 10.00 am and will con­tinue to be in the Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on a weekly ba­sis. Posters are on dis­play in Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Cen­tre pro­mot­ing what they have to of­fer to cus­tomers. The Credit Union are also in at­ten­dance at The Dale Hub on Wed­nes­days from 10am – 11am.

Ar­madale Par­ish Church Sun­day morn­ing ser­vices are held at 11am and also Sun­day School. Evening ser­vices take place on the first Sun­day of each month at 6.30pm. On Re­mem­brance Sun­day a short ser­vice will be­gin at the ear­lier time of 10.50am to al­low any­one who is un­able to go to the War Memo­rial to join in the min­utes si­lence at 11am. The main ser­vice will be­gin at 11.30am when the pa­rade will re­turn from the War Memo­rial and all will be wel­come to at­tend the ser­vice. Prayers for Help and Heal­ing take place fol­low­ing the morn­ing ser­vice. The craft group meet ev­ery Thurs­day af­ter­noon from 2pm – 4pm in the Church hall. A warm wel­come is ex­tended to ev­ery­one to all our ser­vices and groups.

Mem­ory Cave Café The café takes place within Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Cen­tre and Li­brary for peo­ple with de­men­tia and their car­ers and is sup­ported by Alzheimer Scot­land and run by vol­un­teers from the Ar­madale com­mu­nity and takes place on the 3rd Fri­day of the month and is a place where car­ers and fam­ily mem­bers can drop in at any time be­tween 10am – 12 noon. The cafe pro­vides a place to meet where peo­ple un­der­stand de­men­tia, gain peer sup­port and in­for­ma­tion, and en­joy a good blether with a var­ied pro­gramme each month which in­cludes games, quizzes mu­sic and crafts. Car­ers or fam­ily mem­bers with some­one they are car­ing for with de­men­tia are al­ways made most wel­come.

In­ter­church Fel­low­ship Group – The Churches of Ar­madale Fel­low­ship Group meet in the Methodist Church on Thurs­day evenings at 7.30pm. This is where peo­ple from all the Churches in Ar­madale are in­vited to meet to­gether and all are wel­come.

Con­cert By the Bo’ness Belles will take place Ar­madale Par­ish Church on Sun­day 19th Novem­ber and has been or­gan­ised by the fund rais­ing com­mit­tee. The Bo’ness Bells are a group of ladies who sing at var­i­ous venues for Char­ity and all the pro­ceeds of a con­cert goes to their cho­sen char­ity. All wel­come. A Christ­mas Fayre will also take place in the Church Hall on Satur­day 2nd De­cem­ber. Come along and join us at any of these fund rais­ing events. You will be warmly wel­comed.

Guild Ar­madale Par­ish Church Guild next meet on Mon­day 13 Novem­ber in the Church hall from 2pm-4pm.

Net­work Ju­niors Choir The choir has spa­ces for Pri­mary 4 to S4 boys and girls to sing, act, per­form and raise money for char­ity and meet ev­ery Thurs­day in Ar­madale Par­ish Church Hall from 3.15pm-4.30pm so why not come along and join this very lively choir.
