Mid Calder Women’s Group has reopened its waiting list. The Club is for ladies from the age of 50 onwards and it is held on a Monday from 1 p.m. to 3.30p.m. in the Institute Hall, Mid Calder. There are outings, various speakers, quizzes, bingo, games days, Halloween party, St. Andrew’s Day party, and also a summer outing with high tea provided as well as a Christmas lunch in a local hotel. Mid Calder Community Council will hold their next meeting at 7.30pm on Thursday 11 January 2018 in the Auld School, School Lane. Kirk of Calder Sunday School , Sunday Stars and the Mini Kirks meet in the Glenalmond Hall on Sundays from 10.30am till 11.30am. We usually meet in the church to start with, then go down to the hall for songs, games, stories and fun. Either come along or make contact through the Kirk’s Facebook page if you would like to enrol your child; we would be delighted to see children from 3 years upwards. Come and join our happy family. Mid Calder Camera Club meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm, in the Institute Hall, Mid Calder.
