Musical events set for Livingston stage
Trio of special performances at Howden Park
Three music shows are set to entertain West Lothian audiences in the next few weeks.
Music and comedy act The Grumbleweeds will bring their ‘Laughter-noon Show’ to Howden Park Centre in Livingston next month.

It’s a show that’s full to the brim with laugh-out-loud comedy routines, great singers and fun for all the family.
See exactly what’s kept The Grumbleweeds at the very top of their game for over 50 years as they perform some of their hilarious comedy routines in this non-stop variety spectacular. The show takes place on February 25, 2pm. Tickets are £16 or £14 for concessions. The story of the music and friendship of two great songwriters will also take to Howden Park’s stage.
‘You’ve Got A Friend - The Music of James Taylor and Carole King’ celebrates the life and work of the pair.
From the creators of the smash hit West End show ‘The Simon and Garfunkel Story’, ‘You’ve Got A Friend’ celebrates James Taylor and Carole King and intertwines some of the greatest songs ever written including ‘I Feel The Earth Move’, ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’, ‘How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)’, Fire and Rain’, ‘ You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman)’ and the beautiful ‘ You’ve Got A Friend’.
The performance takes place on February 25 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £18 or £16 for concessions. One of the world’s longest running and successful Eric Clapton tribute bands are set to appear in Livingston.
Classic Clapton, featuring front man Mike Hall, will perform a two-hour set of classic songs.
The setlist is set to include ‘Wonderful Tonight’, ‘Tears in Heaven’,‘Crossroads’, ‘I Shot The Sheriff’, ‘Lay Down Sally’, ‘Cocaine’, ‘Layla’ and many more.
Many of the band’s previous gigs have sold out, so book early to avoid disappointment.
