Springing into comedy and music

An up- a n d - coming comedy star is set to bring his newest show to West Lothian this spring.

Edinburgh’s BAFTA awardwinni­ng comedian, Iain Stirling, returns after a summer narrating ITV2’s smash hit ‘Love Island’ and a sixth sell-out Edinburgh Fringe.

‘U OK HUN?’ is a show about how this new world of instant gratificat­ion has affected our ability to find long-term happiness.

As well as hosting ITV2’s newest hit comedy gameshow ‘CelebAbili­ty’, Iain’s intuitive, razor- sharp humour has previously been seen on ‘Virtually Famous’ ( E4), ‘ Drunk History’ (Comedy Central) and many more TV shows.

Iain has been hailed by The Scotsman as: “One of Scotland’s hottest newcomers” and by The Guardian: “Provides an intriguing twentysome­thing perspectiv­e on the current state of his nation.”

The show take place at Howden Park Centre on Sunday, April 8, at 8pm.

Music fans can sing along with some classic songs when ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Paradise’ rolls into town.

It’s a brilliant rock and roll show where the music plays the leading role and in its ninth year on the road, this incredibly talented cast brings you the dream show that never happened.

The audience will be blown away some of the finest tributes to Johnny Cash, The Big Bopper, Carl Perkins, Del Shannon, Eddie Cochran, the Everly Brothers, Ritchie Valens, Ricky Nelson, Duane Eddy, Bobby Vee, Neil Sedaka and Elvis.

Backed by the superb Paradise Band, hear over 40 songs as the jukebox randomly selects the next hit song.

The show is on April 13 at Howden Park Centre in Livingston.
