Kirknewton & East Calder Church Spring Fayre We will be holding a Spring Fayre in East Calder Church Hall on Saturday March 17 from 10-12 noon. Design an Easter Bonnet or Hat and bring it along on the day. Everyone bringing a decorated bonnet or hat will receive a chocolate egg and there will be prizes for the best. ( Judging will take place at approx 11.30am.) You will also have the chance to decorate your own egg. There will be lots of home baking and sweets on sale as well as crafts, cards, gifts, books, bric-a-brac and freshly made pancakes. Enjoy a coffee or tea with hot filled rolls in the downstairs hall & hot pancakes upstairs. Come along and join us for a fun filled morning. We look forward to seeing you there. Admission free. Kosy Kaff the cafe is open on the 1st and the 3rd Fridays of the month during term times from 4-5pm in the Village hall. All primary schoolchildren are welcome to this café environment serving home baking & hot chocolate with games and activities. See www. knec4jesus.org.uk. Kirknewton and East Calder Church hall in Kirknewton is used by various organisations external to the church as well as by church organisations. Kirknewton Youth Club is a weekly group for P7 and S1-S6 young people which meets on Friday evenings from 6-8pm in the Village Hall or the Green Room.
