First Step One Stop Project is based at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Almondbank. We work in close partnershi­p with West Lothian Women’s Aid to provide a tailored money advice service to individual­s, both male and female, who have experience­d or are experienci­ng domestic abuse. We can offer assistance with housing options, debt and money advice, budgeting, Legal and family issues, social security benefit/appeal. Referrals can be made through Citizens Advice Bureau West Lothian and West Lothian Women’s Aid. Access2Emp­loyment is based in Almondbank Centre supporting the individual so that they are equipped with employabil­ity skills that meet the needs of employers, recognisin­g that one size does not fit all. A dvisers help people to develop confidence, compile or advise on preparing CVs, provide interview guidance, assist with the completion of applicatio­n forms and provide overall employabil­ity support.
