Alzheimer Scotland are looking for volunteers to help at our Day Club that runs out from Whitburn. The day club is an active club and is for people with early onset dementia. Some of the activities involve going bowling, walks in the country parks, barge trips and visits to other attraction­s. This is an enjoyable and fun volunteeri­ng role and the volunteers will be well supported by the charity and given training for this role. ANSWER Day Care Centre is looking for volunteers with their own car urgently to transport clients to and from the centre on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays. Whitburn Bowling Club The club hosts a variety of events;Thursday regular bingo, Saturday evenings dancing to live performers.
