Grace Harris harrisg14@gmail.com History of Armadale Association now meet in Colinshiel Housing with Care from 2.00pm - 4.00pm on the second Tuesday of each month and the date for their next meeting is 10 April so why not come along - all welcome. Charity Bingo Armadale OES are holding a charity prize bingo evening on Thursday 22 March in the Masonic hall. Doors open 7pm with eyes down at 7.30pm. Come along and pay at the door. All welcome. Services led by Armadale Parish Church take place in the following:- Bield Housing – Sunday 18 March at 2.30pm, Toll Gate House – Wednesday 21 March at 10.30am. All welcome. Armadale Parish Church Sunday morning services are held at 11am and on the first Sunday of the month an evening service is held at 6.30pm. The Sunday School meet at 11am and Prayers for Help and Healing take place following the morning service. The craft group meet every Thursday afternoon from 2pm-4pm. The fellowship Group meet on Monday 19 March at 7pm in the hall. A warm welcome is extended to everyone to all our services and groups. Come along and join us. Armadale Shed offers a warm, friendly place for residents of the community to meet and converse with likeminded people whilst experiencing woodworking, woodturning or weaving. No experience is necessary for any of these hobbies and tea or coffee is always available. Check out their Facebook Armadaleshed.1 to see the range of activities. Why not pop in and see what goes on, you will be made most welcome. Boys’ Brigade meet on a Thursday evening in Armadale Parish Church hall and it would be great to see existing brigaders and any boys who would be interested in joining the Brigade. The Anchors for (P2-P3’s) meet from 5.45pm-6.45pm and the Junior Section for (P4/P5/P6’s) meet from 6.45pm-8.15pm. Come along and enrol and meet new friends and have fun. Games Club looking for a hobby, like strategy games? Then why not come along to new games club based in Whitburn which takes place every Saturday evening from. 6pm until late. Age 16+. They will play a variety of strategy board and war-games, Boards/tables and scenery supplied. Knit and Natter Knit for charity in Armadale Methodist Church Hall on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 2pm – 4pm. Even if you don’t knit why not come along and enjoy a cuppa and a chat. Everyone will be made most welcome. Smoke Free Lothian Stop Smoking Support takes place in Armadale Community Centre on Wednesdays from 12 noon – 1pm. This is a free service.
