Lammies B dish out a whitewash

Lammies B sealed a whitewash victory over Old Wine Store in last week’s Bathgate Friday Night Darts League.

While they strolled to a 9-0 victory, their‘A’team counterpar­ts suffered a 7-2 defeat at the hands of Corrie Bar during a busy night of action.

Cross Tavern grabbed a 6-3 away victory against Glenmavis Bowling Club while the clash between Coppies A and Kirknewton Innkeepers went right down to the wire with Coppies winning 5-4.

Edinburgh’s Andrew Davidsion defeated Rikki Brown in the final of the Kirknewton Inn Open to claim the title.

Unfortunat­ely for West Lothian, two local players were edged out in the semi-finals as Craigshill’s Gary Christie and Graeme Bird of East Calder were dispatched in the final four stage.

Davie Kirwan from Glasgow won the Bob Hall Memorial Open in fine fashion at the Bathgate Royal British Legion, with more than 50 players competing.

He got the better of Whitburn’s Callum Wilkinson in a thrilling final.
