Village road closure

Drivers and residents of Stoneyburn are being advised of a one-day road closure in the village.

The closure will affect Cannop Crescent just west of the junction of Hens Nest Road this Sunday (March 18).

This is to allow for the installation of a new manhole cover by Scottish Water contractors Kier Group.

Due to the nature of the road, a 10-mile diversion route will be in place from Cannop Crescent (B7015), along the A706 to the A71 via West Calder, taking the B792 then back on the B7015 towards Stoneyburn.

Scottish Water thank road users for their patience and ask them to adhere to the diversion.

Where the work is impacting on residential parking and customer driveways, Kier representatives will liaise directly with those affected.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works.
