Hunt for three men after youth hit with bottle
A 19-year-old youth was hospitalised following a vicious assault by three men in which the victim was attacked with a bottle.
The victim was walking on Riddochhill Road in Blackburn on Thursday, May 24, at around 11pm when he was approached by the three men.
One of the men struck the victim on the hand with the glass bottle resulting in serious injuries.
Inquiries are ongoing to identify the attacker and the other members of the group and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Detective Constable Lynn Myles from Livingston CID said:“This appears to be an unprovoked attack, which resulted in the victim sustaining a painful injury to his hand that required medical attention.
“At this time we do not have a description of the suspect, or the other two men in his company.
“We would like to hear anyone who was on Riddochhill Road on Thursday night and witnessed the assault.
“They should contact police immediately.
“I would also urge the other two men to get in touch and tell us the name of their friend who was responsible for this incident.”
