Muddy Puddles are holding a Community Consultati­on Day on Sunday June 24th in Bellsquarr­y Village Hall from 10.30am -12 noon d and Murieston Village Hall from 1.30pm -3pm where they will outline their plans for a new social enterprise. They are looking for feedback about their proposal to open a Forest Nursery and after school club in Murieston. They aim to provide outdoor education services to school and community groups such as Scouts or Girl Guides. Refreshmen­ts will be provided on the day and the whole family are invited to attend. It’s Windball Cricket time here at Livingston Cricket Club on Friday 8th June from 3pm and we’re looking for teams to come and take part. Windball cricket is not unlike rounders and is played with a soft ball so it’s suitable for sporty and non -sporty people alike. If you fancy some fun with a group of 8 friends, colleagues or even neighbours then get in touch. We’ll start from 3pm so that parents can bring their children along if you want to....perhaps as a Mexican wave at the side of the ground . There will be a Bbq and beers for our teams so why not make a day of it? Costs will be confirmed shortly so watch the Cricket Club Social Facebook page for more info. Livingston Cricket Club is holding its second Ladies Day at the cricket club from 3pm till late! Highlights include: Pimp your prosecco. Best dressed hat/ facinator wins a bottle of prosecco. Free hand massages by resident Tropic. Glitter tattoos and more. Buffet at 5pm. Games and raffles. Cost per ticket £10 includes glass of bubbly and buffet. Coder 7-17 Year Olds! Fancy learning how to code? CoderDojo Scotland coding club at Livingston Cricket Club is held monthly on a Saturday morning. No previous experience required! The following one will be held on June 28th in the Kingfisher Bar from 6.00 pm to 9 pm and the theme will be seascapes in oils. Harry Potter Why not pop along to the Livingston Cricket Club on Friday August 17th at 7pm for a fantastic evening with the world’s favorite wizard! We’ll be watching a Harry Potter movie, enjoying a butterbeer or two, having a fancy dress competitio­n for adults and kids, plus a great family quiz too! More info to follow but save the date.... Livingston Cricket Club will be holding their annual Gala Day on 1st September this year and are looking for any entreprene­urs out there who would like a stall? Stalls will cost £10 for the day. Please contact the club if you would like to book. Bellsquarr­y Brownies meet on Wednesdays from 6.30pm -8pm in the primary school and currently have spaces for girls ages 7-10. Walking Football for all, every Wednesday morning, 10am -11am at Bankton Mains Sporting Facility; a great way to get more active whilst having fun. It’s free and you can relax afterwards with a cuppa and a biscuit. Would be great to see more ladies coming along. Bellsquarr­y Village Hall hosts many community activities including the following weekly classes: Hatha Yoga Classes every Tuesday at 11am.
