West Lothian Youth Foundation supported by other partners are holding a half day camp from 10.00- noon from Monday 23 July - Friday 27 July at the Partnersip Centre’s 3G Pitch. The cost is £25 and there is a 20% discount when booking in a sibling to the camp. Bookings can be made by email at info@wlyf.org.uk or by calling 01506 417 000 Fauldhouse St John the Baptist Over 50’s Club recently held their summer outing to Largs and 61 members had a most enjoyable day. The club attracts members not only locally but from neighbouri­ng towns and villages and meet every second Wed evening where members and visitors enjoy a relaxing night over a wee cuppa and some light entertainm­ent. The club take this opportunit­y to thank all entertaine­rs and Scotmid for their sponsorshi­p which is greatly appreciate­d. New members always welcome. Three teams will compete in Gala Committee’s Pubs and Cubs Quiz Final to be held in Greenburn Golf Club on Friday 22 June starting at 8 pm. The Georgie Sneddon Memorial Trophy and prizes will be presented to the winning team. Art Class every Monday from 2-4 pm in the Hub on Main Street. The class has a mixed level of skills and experience and new members are always welcome. Charity Shop in Fauldhouse Indoor Market, 1 Blackfauld­s Place. A selection of clothes, shoes, toys books etc all free of charge to children in need. It should be noted and respected that the shop is not designed for folk to wander in and uplift items just to fill their children’s wardrobe but rather it’s to help families who are genuinely struggling and find it extremely difficult to provide basic needs such as clothing and shoes. Any family in such circumstan­ce is welcome to drop into the shop at anytime. Opening hours Mon - Fri 10am - 3 pm Congratula­tions to the winners of the P4 - P 7 Gala Football tournament. The winning team of MacKenzie Perry, Leo McFarlane, Kayden Berry, Paul, Watson, Katie Watson and Cameron Simms won on penalties. The Gala Treasure Hunt for children attracted 12 teams. All children received crisps and sweets and the winning prize of £20 went to Team Stewart, second place £10 to a Team McIlduff and in third place £5 were Team Riley. Fantastic effort and a huge thanks to all participan­ts.
