The walks are organised by West Lothian council’s Health Improvement Team.

A spokesperson said the walks are designed to be informal and inclusive to ensure that everyone who wants to join in feels welcome.

They said: “Our groups are friendly and welcoming and the trained walk leaders will support new walkers to build up their pace and distance. You can meet new friends, discover new walks and improve your fitness.

“The walk will last about 60 minutes and you will be able to walk at your own pace.

“Sorry, but dogs are not allowed on the walks.”
