Friday 3rd August. Our Grand Finale 3.00pm-5.00pm Summer Fun Time age 4 years to 12 years come and join in the fun with our Disco, Face Painter, Glitter Tatoos and prizes. Have the chance to meet Pj Masks and the Minions. Price £3.00 per child. Tickets for all events are available from the Craiginn Centre. AGM of Langside Drive and Woodhill Road Residents Assoc will take place in the Craiginn Community Centre on Tuesday 26 th June at 7 p.m. All residents and landlords of Langside Drive and Woodhill Road are welcome. Tea, coffee and home baking provided. Monday Club Councillor Sarah King was the guest at last weeks meeting of the Monday Club. Sarah updated the group on her next book. She then went on to read one of her short stories based on a visit to Linlithgow Palace. Sarah was thanked by the group and tea was served. Last Saturday saw two coaches of the villages senior citizens leave for their annual outing with Dumfries being this years destination. A short stop en route was made at the Woollen Mill at Moffat then on to the Nith Hotel for lunch. Those who wished were transported into Dumfries to spend a few hours before heading back to the hotel for High Tea. The weather could not have been kinder and arriving back to the village just after nine o,clock. The committee who organise the outing have to be congratulated for providing such a great day out.
