NEEDING A HOME

-

Rescue dogs Carla and Voss appealed for potential new owners to come forward and give them a home together.

Both dogs, who are residents at Dogs Trust’s Rehoming Centre in West Calder, are loveable greyhounds and have spent most of their life together before coming into the care of Dogs Trust.

Canine carers are on the lookout for experienced dog owners, who have an understanding of their breed. Carla and Voss can live with children over the age of 10 and potentially other dogs of a similar size.

Susan Tonner, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust West Calder said:“Carla and Voss, aged four and five, make a great pair and are the best of friends. We would love to see them find a home where they can live together. Both of them adore human companionship and love nothing more than cuddling up for a nap on the couch together. They are also very sociable and love meeting new people, as well as other dogs.We understand that adopting two dogs is more responsibility than adopting one; however the rewards of keeping this gorgeous pair together will definitely make the extra workload worthwhile.”

They are house trained, can travel in the car if going for walks and would prefer a household where someone will be around most of the day to keep them company. If you can offer the dogs a home, get in touch with the team at Dogs Trust West Calder on 0300 303 0292 or visit www. dogstrust.org.uk/our-centres/ west-calder
