Murieston United Blues 2007 are looking for players to join their existing team for the transition to playing 9-a-side in the WLSDA Bruce League on Saturday mornings. We hope that you, your friends and family will join us to help make another fantastic community gathering. All the old favourites – races, activities, BBQ and entertainm­ent for all the family will be back again on the Gala Day, plus we have our Gala King And Queen plus Flower Girl and Pageboy. Volunteers are required to help set up/ close down, man games and general assisting. For this year’s Gala Day Competitio­n we are looking for those who are adventurou­s at making scarecrows. Are you brave enough and artistic enough to enter our scarecrow competitio­n? Enter your scarecrow, put it in your front garden for people to judge and see if you can win our prize on Gala Day. Put your name down on Livingston Cricket Club website and we will get back you with a sign in sheet and details. £2 entry fee. Get your baking aprons on for our famous Gala Day Bake Off competitio­n to be held on Saturday 1st September at Livingston Cricket Club. Bellsquarr­y Village Hall will be closed from the 23rd of September to the 19th of October. WLC are installing a new kitchen and accessible toilet. The current toilets will be upgraded at a later date.
