High five from rampant Fulshie

- Rosyth ...............3 Stoneyburn ........5

Premier League South

Stoneyburn jumped into second place in the Premier League South division after a five-star performance away to Rosyth.

The rampant Fulshie opened the scoring on four minutes through Ryan Robertson, with a wonderful 25 yard strike, before a blistering 15-minute spell during which both teams netted twice.

Jason Keith levelled things up on 23 minutes before the away side promptly went up the park and got themselves back in front after some terrific build-up play was finished off by Alec Wade.

Prolific Rosyth striker Tam Hampson ensured his side drew level for a second time, but Cameron Donaldson made it 3-2 for the Fulshie seven minutes before the interval.

Wade grabbed his second shortly after the break before Hampson matched it with his brace on 55 minutes.

Stoneyburn finally built up a two-goal lead with 20 minutes left on the clock as Nicky Wood swept the ball home to give the scoreline a slightly more deserving look to it as the Fulshie had dominated large spells of the game but were unable to put Rosyth out of sight.

With the hosts sending men forward during the closing stages, Stoneyburn passed up a few good chances to extend their lead.

But gaffer Allan Fleming was more than satisfied with his side’s afternoon’s work as they grabbed the three points.
