Get ready for a night of Scottish anthems, great craic and ceilidh dancing with up-and-coming trad act Rhuvaal along with energetic local lads, 5 Strings. There will also be a raffle to raise funds for Mid Calder Children’s Gala and Mid Calder Tartan Army. Tickets priced £10 are available frombilletto.co.uk. This is a child friendly event and kids under 10 go free. ABC are bringing their out of school care to East Calder and will be based within Tot’s Spot at 200 Main Street. Staff can collect pupils from Mid Calder P.S and transport to the club. The club is registered for 20 children. Mid Calder Colts Soccer Schools intake for children born 2011 & 2012 is now open & ready for immediate entry. Soccer School is on a Monday night 6pm till 7pm on the main Livingston Football Club park inside the Stadium Almondvale Stadium This is a fantastic facility for the kids and a great experience for them also. For Children born in 2013 you can now register for joining early next year We are a Community Football Club, both the Club and all our coaches are SYFA Accredited and approved and hold current Pvg certification. Kirk of Calder Sunday School, Sunday Stars and the Mini Kirks meet in the Glenalmond Hall on Sundays from 10.30am till 11.30am. We usually meet in the church to start with, then go down to the hall for songs, games, stories and fun. Either come along or make contact through the Kirk’s Facebook page if you would like to enrol your child; we would be delighted to see children from 3 years upwards. Come and join our happy family.
