FLU CLINICS will be held at Murieston Medical Practice on Saturdays 6th and 20th October from 9 am - 1pm. These are open clinics and no appointmen­t is necessary. Please come along if you are aged 65 and over OR have a chronic medical condition i.e. kidney failure, multiple sclerosis, liver problems, diabetes, asthma (on regular inhaled steroids), COPD, coronary heart disease or are a carer. Murieston Developmen­t Trust a steering committee now meets on the first Thursday of the month to discuss the set-up of a Developmen­t Trust. The next meeting is tonight, Thursday 4th October at the Brucefield Farm Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery. Please come along if you would like to know more.

Kids Craft Classes will be coming to Livingston Cricket Club on the first Saturday of the month from October. The classes will run from 10.30am to 1.30pm and will be for 8 – 10 year olds. Art Classes are held in Livingston Cricket Club every other Monday from 6:00- 8:30pm . Why not come along and meet our group. Knitting Due to great demand from the ladies attending the recently formed Knitting Group held in Livingston Cricket Club; the group will now meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Next meeting will be tonight, Thursday 27th at 7pm. Cost £2:50. Great chat and good company and includes tea/coffee and biscuits. Christmas Craft Fair organised by Livingston South Community Church, will be held in Murieston Village Hall on Saturday 3 November from 9am -1pm. There will be 18 stalls of wonderful handmade gifts including papercraft­s, bags, pinboards, jewellery, photograph­y, cushions, aprons, wooden items, jams & preserves, artwork, patchwork and quilted gifts and much more. Unique handcrafte­d work by local artists. There is no entry fee and refreshmen­ts will be available.

Bellsquarr­y Brownies meet on Wednesdays during term time, from 6.30pm -8pm in the primary school and currently have spaces for girls ages 7-10. Please contact Bellsquarr­y Village Hall for more info.

Bellsquarr­y Village Hall will be closed from the 23rd of September to the 19th of October. WLC are installing a new kitchen and accessible toilet. Murieston United have a fun soccer school for boys and girls born in 2011. Training is every Thursday 5-6pm at Murieston home ground on the 3G. Jogging Group meets every Thursday at 6.30pm in the Murieston Cricket Club car park. A 4 week block costs £20 or 8 week block £40 and is led by experience­d Jog Scotland Jog Leader Marion.
