Church Coffee Mornings are held in the Church on the last Thursday of each month from 10am.

Time Out Art Class meet in the Craiginn Centre on Tuesday’s from 6 p.m The class have some of their work on display in the Craiginn Centre. Certainly worth a look.

Teas and coffees are available after morning worship each Sunday. Service begins at 10 a.m. All welcome

Knit wits meet in the Craiginn Centre on Thursday evenings from 6-30 p.m. This is a comparativ­ely new class and is well attended. Folks are willing to share their skills with those who are keen to learn knitting or crochet etc. All welcome

SWI President Tracy Hill extended a warm welcome to all at the October meeting of the SWI. Routine business was dealt with before welcoming Ros Milligan from Decadently Pure. Some insight into the history of chocolate was given before a short demo and taste of some truffles. The products are made from only three main ingredient­s and free from dairy, wheat, gluten, refined sugar, soya, sulphites or anything artificial . Tracy thanked Ros on behalf of the group for her most interestin­g talk on her chocolate. Blackridge Old Folks Committee have organised a Fund Raising Dance in the Craiginn Centre on Saturday October 27th at 7 p.m. Tickets are £5 each and music is by Tease and Squeeze.
