Knit wits meet in the Craiginn Centre on Thursday evenings from 6-30 p.m. This is a comparatively new class and is well attended. Folks are willing to share their skills with those who are keen to learn knitting or crochet etc. All welcome
SWI President Tracy Hill extended a warm welcome to all at the October meeting of the SWI. Routine business was dealt with before welcoming Ros Milligan from Decadently Pure. Some insight into the history of chocolate was given before a short demo and taste of some truffles. The products are made from only three main ingredients and free from dairy, wheat, gluten, refined sugar, soya, sulphites or anything artificial . Tracy thanked Ros on behalf of the group for her most interesting talk on her chocolate. Blackridge Old Folks Committee have organised a Fund Raising Dance in the Craiginn Centre on Saturday October 27th at 7 p.m. Tickets are £5 each and music is by Tease and Squeeze.
