B’quarry&Murieston

Christmas Craft Fair organised by Livingston South Community Church, will be held in Murieston Village Hall on Saturday 3 November from 9am -1pm. There will be 18 stalls of wonderful handmade gifts including papercrafts, bags, pinboards, jewellery, photography, cushions, aprons, wooden items, jams & preserves, artwork, patchwork and quilted gifts and much more. Unique handcrafted work by local artists. There is no entry fee and refreshments will be available. There will be no Bellsquarry Community Council Meeting in October –due to the hall toilets and kitchen being refurbished. The next meeting will be on Monday 3rd December. Nether Dechmont Community Centre in Fells Rigg, Carmondean is hosting a special event on Saturday 20th October for people planning their wedding. There will be a fashion show, afternoon tea, a goody bag on arrival and a host of wedding suppliers ready to chat about your big day. The event runs from 11am-3pm and details can be found on www. netherdechmontweddingexhibition.com. Bellsquarry SWRI The next meeting will be held tonight Thursday 18th October at 7.15pm. The Speaker is from Wiltshire Foods and will be held in Polbeth Church Hall (off the main road) due to Bellsquarry Hall being shut for refurbishment. A Litter Pick around Murieston Trail will be held on Sunday 28th October from 11am to 1pm. If you would like to come along and help clean up our local environment, please be at the Cricket Club at 10.30am. We will finish with refreshments about 3pm.
