Get into the festive spirit with some magical Christmas fayres.

Kicking things off is Linlithgow Advent Fayre on Saturday, November 24.

This traditiona­l, annual event continues to offer a packed and festive day of fun from 10am which sees the formal opening of the Advent Fayre

From 10am visit Mrs Claus in her Grotto in Burgh Halls whilst Santa hands out sweets before browsing some of the Christmas stalls.

From 10am to 3pm the craft fair is held in Burgh Halls along with the charity street fair at the Cross and farmers market at The Vennel.

10am 3pm: Tea, Coffee, Cakes & Lunch in St. Michaels Church Hall, Cross House

From 2pm to 4pm enjoy the Line Gallery Exhibition and mulled wine before the The grand torchlight procession from Low Port centre at 5pm.

At 6pm there is community carol singing and the Christmas tree light switch on at The Cross and at 7.30pm the Linlithgow String Orchestra Winter perform a concert at St Michael’s Parish Church.

The procession will end at The Cross in front of the Burgh Halls, where carol singing will take us to the switch on of the Christmas tree lights at 6pm.

And also on November 24 is Torphichen Christmas Market at Torphichen Community Centre from 1pm to 4pm.

Come along for a festive and fun filled afternoon with some beautiful and unique artisan stalls showcasing the best of local talent.

It’s the chance to start your Christmas shopping in a relaxed style, with our cafe with delicious homebaking plus activities to keep the little ones busy while you shop and Santa himself may even may an appearance.
