The West Lothian Wolves youngsters were in fine form over the weekend as they claimed a string of fine results.

The club’s under-18 men improved their record to 4-5 with a commanding 118-50 triumph over Perth Phoenix at Armadale Academy.

They will likely face a much stiffer test this weekend, though, as they host table-topping St Mirren West Scotland College on Saturday.

The two club’s under-16 men’s sides will also be facing each other on Saturday with a 10am tip-off in a clash that pits the third-placed Wolves (6-2) against a Saints side sitting in second position (7-1).

The senior men are in action at home against Boroughmuir Blaze B in a Division Two fixture at home tomorrow night (Friday) with a home win set to take the Wolves into second place.

The club’s senior women host St Mirren West College Scotland on Saturday afternoon (2pm) start as they aim to pick up their first league win of the season.

The club’s under-18 and under-16 sides both faced Perth Phoenix last weekend with each club claiming one victory.

There was a comprehensive win for the Wolves’under-18s as they grabbed an 84-54 triumph over the side that was immediately above them in the table and they tackle St Mirren West College Scotland on Sunday afternoon (2pm) aiming to improve their record to 4-1 in the early stages of the season.

While the under-18s won, it was defeat for the younger age group as the under-16 side lost out 66-48 to the Phoenix in a clash between the two unbeaten sides in the division.

The young Wolves will be aiming to get back on track this weekend as they are first up on Sunday (12noon) in the double-header with St Mirren West College Scotland.
