School gets a glowing report
staff as well as the quality of the indoor and outdoor learning environments in the early learning centre which stimulate children’s learning.
They also praised the effective partnership working to meet the learning needs of all children and the positive culture towards reading which has been developed by staff and that children enjoy and engage confidently in their learning.
The inspection team’s validation of the school’s identified areas for improvement was welcomed. These areas were to develop further opportunities for staff to share effective practice in learning and teaching and to further improve approaches to tracking children’s achievements.
Armadale Prima r y Seconded Headteacher Julie Ross said: “As a school we are delighted to receive a positive report from the inspectors at both Education Scotland and Care Inspectorate.
“We welcome recognition of the good work in the school and we are well placed and well underway in taking the recommendations forward.
“A huge thank you to all the pupils, staff and those from the wider school community who have contributed to this positive report.”

“Congratulations to everyone connected with the school, and I’m sure this positive report will be used to help further improve the education experience for all Armadale Primary pupils.”
