Larder Cafe has opened in Fauldhouse Partnershi­p Centre Mon - Friday from 9 - 3 pm. Speciality teas and coffees, home baking, breakfast, light snacks and lunches to sit in or take away. The last day for posting will be the end of trading on Thursday 20 December. The cost remains 20p per card. Deliveries will take place on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons to Whitburn, East Whitburn and Redmill ONLY. Whitburn FCA 2009s Tins For Christmas Appeal- As a Community Football Club they aim to help others in the community at a time of year for sharing we would like to ask that instead of donations to the Soccer School that they will be accepting Food Donations. The 2009 and 2010 Teams will also be asked to help out where possible. Tins For Christmas will be donated to the Foodbank in Whitburn a tin a week from anyone could help a family have a Christmas Meal that they otherwise couldn’t afford. There will be a large variety of stalls including, crafts, gifts, home baking, tombola and a raffle. Pupils from a local school will be singing Christmas carols at the event and entry is free. Crofthead Farm Community Centre has set up a collection point for donations to give to the local Food Bank to help local families at Christmas. All non-perishable Christmas themed foods/sweets for children and adults would be greatly appreciate­d. The appeal is being co-ordinated by Kathleen Kirton who runs the Farmhouse Café at the Centre.
