Beavers are held each Tuesday evening from 6.30 till 7.30 pm, for ages are 6 - 8 years. Cubs are on Thursdays from 6.30 till 8.00 pm, for ages are 8- 10 years. Larder Cafe has opened in Fauldhouse Partnership Centre Mon - Friday from 9 - 3 pm. Speciality teas and coffees, home baking, breakfast, light snacks and lunches to sit in or take away. All profits go towards helping disadvantaged young people into work. Fauldhouse Santa Parade on Tuesday 18 Dec from 6-8 pm. The organisers are looking for local stall holders with inexpensive last minute Christmassy items to sell. It should be noted that fresh or frozen produce should not be included and if you know of anyone in the village who would benefit from some ‘Christmas Cheer’ this Christmas then contact the CDT on 01501 773 699 or just pop into the Hub. C was founded in 1919 and to mark its centenary next year the club would like to document its life and time over these years. Cards can be posted at the following shops from Saturday 1 December : Hairport Hair Studio, East Whitburn; Gothenburg, East Whitburn; Rashid Bros, Murraysgate; U-Save, East Main St; Mia’s Card Shop, West Main St; Premier Store (Mr Singh), East Main Street; Glenmore Minimarket, Blaeberryhill Road; and Boots the Chemist, West Main Street. The last day for posting will be the end of trading on Thursday 20 December. The cost remains 20p per card. Deliveries will take place on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons to Whitburn, East Whitburn and Redmill ONLY. Whitburn FCA 2009s Tins For Christmas Appeal- As a Community Football Club they aim to help others in the community at a time of year for sharing we would like to ask that instead of donations to the Soccer School that they will be accepting Food Donations. The 2009 and 2010 Teams will also be asked to help out where possible. Tins For Christmas will be donated to the Foodbank in Whitburn a tin a week from anyone could help a family have a Christmas Meal that they otherwise couldn’t afford. The Whitburn FCA would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped them over the past 12 months and look forward to the continued support from their community.

There will be a large variety of stalls including, crafts, gifts, home baking, tombola and a raffle. Pupils from a local school will be singing Christmas carols at the event and entry is free. Crofthead Farm Community Centre has set up a collection point for donations to give to the local Food Bank to help local families at Christmas. All non-perishable Christmas themed foods/sweets for children and adults would be greatly appreciated. The appeal is being co-ordinated by Kathleen Kirton who runs the Farmhouse Café at the Centre.
