LIBRARY

The Graphic Novel Group meets today (Thursday) from 4.30-6pm New members welcome. The Kids Craft Club will take place on Friday February 15 from 2 – 3pm and there will be a Bookbug Session on Tuesday February 19 from 2-2:30pm. Almondbank Library offers a wide range of library and informatio­n services to people of all ages living or working in West Lothian.

CRAIGSHILL COMMUNITY COUNCIL

The Community Council meets on the 2nd Wednesday in the month, except January and July at 7.15pm at the Almondbank Centre. The office-bearers are Ian Buchanan (Chair), Wilma Pincott (Vice Chair), Rose McAulay (Secretary), David Gilmour ( Treasurer) and Craig Hume ( Planning Secretary). We welcome runners of any standard. We believe that running clubs are not just for the elite ( although we will let fast people join too). Jidel Judo 93 have classes on a Monday and Friday at Excite at Craigswood Sports Centre. Jidel is a family run and orientated­club. It welcomes new members, you are very welcome to go along and give judo a try. They have classes and pathways for all ages and abilities. We currently have spaces for both boys and girls aged between 6 and 8 years old. Meetings take place on Wednesday evenings from 6.30- 7.30pm in Toronto Primary School and we offer a wide range of fun games, crafts, outings, friendship and a chance to learn and try new things. Craigshill’s Drop - In is a new club based at the community wing in Riverside.
