The group is looking for more youth and adult members to come on board and is based at Livingston Station Community Centre in Deans .

It would be good to hear from any parents /guardians who would like to get involved with running or helping at the sections. The group need more adult support due to the growth in our youth numbers.

Beavers meet on a Tuesday night from 6.30-7pm for ages 6-8 years old, cubs meet on a Thursday night from 6.30- 8pm for ages 8-10 years old and scouts on a Thursday night from 7-9.pm for ages 10 - 14 year.

 ??  ?? Two senior school girls from West Lothian have been nominated for prestigiou­s awards at the Scottish Cyber Awards. Toni Mackenzie and Clara O’Callaghan from St Kentigren’s Academy were nominated for the Cyber Evangelist of the Year award. The girls are part of a cyber security team at the school called Turing Testers where young girls learn about data science and coding to try and encourage gender diversity in the field. Speaking to the Courier Toni’s mum said: “I am very proud of her for achieving this. She really enjoys it and has been talking about taking computing on to study at college or university. The school have been great and they seem really keen to get more girls involved in this sort of thing.”
