Comedian Craig Hill set for Livingston show

One of Scotland’s finest comedy talents is set to return to West Lothian.

Craig Hill will bring his ‘ Bottoms Up!’ show to Howden Park Centre in January.

If you’re a gin, he’s a tonic! Join Craig as toasts his 20th solo show - this is one fun mixer that will keep fizzing.

Fresh from making his solo debut on New York’s offBroadwa­y, Craig’s in the pink this year, and proving it takes all sorts to make the world go round in his bubbly, fun new show.

He’s renowned all over the world for his cheeky, irreverent and high-octane performanc­es.

Craig’s tours are firmly establishe­d as one of the best nights out around.

His razor-sharp wit and unsurpasse­d audience rapport provide the perfect blend for a brilliant night of pure, unadultera­ted comedy.

Speaking of his performanc­e, The Mirror said: “Flatout hilarious... I’ve not heard a room laugh so long and hard… There isn’t anyone better at working a crowd… the audience was in absolute paroxysms of laughter…. Genuinely funny.”

The show takes place on Friday, January 17, and Saturday, January 18, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £17.50 or £14.50 for concession­s.

The show is strictly for over 16s, due to strong language and adult content.

Celebrate Burns Night in style at a special event. The Rear View Band, one of Scotland’s most popular party bands, bring a Burns Night celebratio­n jam packed with foot tapping jigs and reels to tempt you onto the dance floor. Known for their tight performanc­es and energy, the Rear View Band seamlessly blend contempora­ry music with traditiona­l Scottish Ceilidh.

A special evening from a band that certainly know how to work a crowd, this a Howden Park Centre favourite so book fast so you don’t miss out.

It also includes a buffet meal of haggis (meat or veggie) neeps and tatties and a wee nip to address the haggis.

The event is on Saturday, January 25, at 7pm. Tickets are £22.50.

Swan Lake 2020 from Ballet West will present their critically-acclaimed production of the classic ballet, Swan Lake at venues across Scotland including Howden Park Centre.

This production of Swan Lake was performed by Ballet West’s profession­al Internatio­nal Touring Company in Malaysia in 2018. A cast of more than 100 dancers from Ballet West’s Upper School in Taynuilt and High Performanc­e Lower School in Oban will be led by principal dancer, Natasha Watson.

The company will be joined by internatio­nal guest artists with young dancers from Ballet West’s Associate Programmes in Dundee, Edinburgh, and Glasgow joining the company in the larger venues.

The event is on February 1, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £15.
