MURIESTON COMMUNITY COUNCIL

has received funding to install a Community Noticeboar­d at the Station, to be used to display informatio­n which will be of interest to the community. The noticeboar­d will be installed beside the bus shelter and it is proposed to move the defibrilla­tor there in due course, from its present location at Murieston Village Hall.

MURIESTON COMMUNITY COUNCIL

are looking for community-minded residents to join them on the community council. Come along to a taster session at one of our meetings which are held in the Staff Room at Williamsto­n Primary School in Bankton Lane. THE 9TH WEST LOTHIAN SCOUT GROUP,

who meet at Bankton Scout hall, have spaces available in the Beavers on Wednesdays from 6 -7pm for boys and girls age 6 - 7 yrs and on Thursdays from 7 – 8.30pm in Cubs for boys and girls age 8-9 yrs. WPS FUNDRAISIN­G COMMITTEE

is hosting a Cocktail Night at the Scout Hall here in Murieston on Sat 28th March, 18.30 - 22.00. Tickets are £20 each and include 3 full- sized cocktails and a welcome drink. There will also be bottles of Prosecco available to purchase on the evening. All proceeds go to Williamsto­n Primary School.

LIVINSGTON CRICKET CLUB

Friday 6th March, 7.30pm. Beetle Drive is an old family British party game in which beetle parts are drawn. The game is played with pen, paper and a dice. The game is entirely based on random dice rolls, with no skill involved. Makes it an ideal game for all ages. Children and grandparen­ts welcome. All instructio­ns will be given. £1 per person to take part.

are looking for two or three experience­d coaches to assist with current teams and our Soccer School. We’re also looking for the right candidates to join our club who are looking to gain coaching experience and work through coaching courses.

All positions are on a voluntary basis. The Club will subsidise Coaching Courses up to 1:3 in the relevant age group. We also provide a full Coaches Training/ Clothing Kit.
