Lottie appeals for a caring new owner

- MARJORIE KERR

Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for a friendly dog in their care.

Lottie is a six- year- old Staffie cross who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.

Her carers say Lottie is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves the company of her family.

She can live with children aged 10 years old and over and would like to be the only pet in the home.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Lottie enjoys going for long walks and playing with her toys, especially the squeaky ones.

“She adores people and is always the first one to say hello to everyone she meets and is at her happiest when getting her belly rubbed and her ears scratched.

“Lottie is looking for new owners who have owned dogs before. She would like her own garden where she can run around playing games or spend time relaxing off her lead.

“Lottie is worr ied and uncomfortable around dogs and would need to walk in quiet areas away from other dogs outside.

“She is a total foodie, who loves learning new tricks and always try’s her best to please you. She is well behaved in the home, is housetrained, can be left at home for short periods of time and loves to travel in the car to new adventures.”

If you think you can offer Lottie or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming please contact the centre on 01506 873459.
