Enter our Butcher Boy competition and win tasty treat
We are recruiting now for a caring and proactive team member who will go the extra mile for the people we support.
You don’t need experience or qualifications to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We have our own training academy that’ll give you all the skills you’ll need, we’ll even put you through your SVQ qualification too.
You’ll become part of an energetic, fast paced and friendly team who all work together to provide residential, respite and day care support.
As well as helping the people we support with all aspects of daily living, you’ll also support them to play an active part in their local community and providing positive encouragement with independence and goals. Some of the activities they enjoy include playing dominoes, boccia and basketball, cooking, baking, going for walks, going out for lunch and going to the local pub.
The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.
As part of a self- organised team, you’ll not only be involved in providing support, you’ll also be involved in other areas of running the team such as rota planning, finance, medication, health and safety and recruitment.
As we’re dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns will include early mornings, days, evenings, waking nights, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a Zoom interview on Tuesday, July 21.
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and have a commitment to working towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
In this role you will need to register with the SSSC within six months of taking up employment
